Faustinus

Faustinus is a modern, elegant stallion with superb riding horse qualities which he passes onto his offspring. Several are FEI Young rider horses.

He has power, presence and his striking sleek black colour and thoroughbred likeness coupled with his light, athletic movements and superb jumping abilities makes him a fabulous sire for producing all types of sport and show horses. Faustinus successfully passed his 30 day test with scores of 8.38 in rideability and 8.19 in jumping. He is trained to inter 1 but through no fault of his own was not competed after his first couple of years under saddle.

In 2006 Faustinus was the Champion at his 70 day test with 136.44. His dressage he scored 143.64 and jumping 117.16. His rideability was 9.25. He won the conformation class at the stallion show in Sogel with over 85% and the riding horse championships in Hoven. He was 4 th in the 5 yo Bundeschampionat 2007. He was awarded the Oldenburg 1B stallion premium award due to the correctness and fabulous foals of his first crop who were assessed, many gaining the Oldenburg premium title.

Faustinus has consistently produced level headed athletic horses in sport. He has sired numerous FEI horses up to Grand Prix level. His son Fashion Designer OLD ridden by Dr Cesar Parra in the USA had a fabulous career winning many championships. Valenta’s Fantast ridden by Oliver Valenta is currently competing at Grand Prix in Austria. He has Grand Prix offspring and  numerous Inter 1 horses including Fiera Girl, Fiolina, Fabregas and Fairytail. His young rider horses include Fedor Van Het Booienhof ridden by Charlie Grieve (GB), Faustland and Festwalzer. He has sired numerous premium foals and state
premium mares.

Faustinus’s sire, Furst Heinrich who departed this world far to early was a former main Premium winner in Oldenburg and World Championship winner as a 5 yo. He has produced 53 licensed sons including Furstenball, Furst Romancier, Furst Wilhelm, Van The Man and Feinrich. Numerous state premium mares and Grand prix horses including Furst Theodor, Fonteyne, Fidelio B and Furst Fridolin. His daughter Florenz is competiting at CIC3* in eventing.

Faustinus’s dam, Rominze stems from a very successful Trakehner dam line where a huge number of sport horses and approved breeding stallions including Ravel, Rombus, Rockefeller, Radscha come from. The CC12* eventer Ruprecht, Showjumpers Sir Londal (1.55), Litschi F (1.40), Lyra F (1.20) and the Grand Prix dressage horses Benaglio, Zinq and Cabanas FH. Numerous state premium and Elite mares are closely found.

The dam, Rominze’s sire, Starway won his performance test with scores of 9 for character, eventing capabilities and gallop. He was the winner for the qualification in 1994 and 1995 for the Bundeschampionat event horses and received the Robert Victor Event Cup for the most successful event horse in 1994. In 1995 he finished joint 2 nd with a score of 9 in the Bundeschampionat.

Starway’s progeny include the approved breeding stallions Exclusive and Pepper & Salt and the FEI event horses Fly In Sunset CIC3* and Lightstream CIC3*.

Starway’s dam line is very impressive of numerous sport horses in all spheres. The well known and saught after dressage young Premium awarded stallions Finest and St Moritz Junior and the Inter 1 Hennessy XO, Premium Trakehner stallions Sedan and Solist, Schneekoenig, Schwerttraeger, Symbol, Salut, Saturn and Sternglanz are a few. The Inter 1 dressage horses Scarlett, Play & Win and Hennessy XO and the showjumpers Douceu (1.50), Wymen (1.35), Segestes (1.35), Starlight (1.30) and Sabrina (1.30) are all featured in this direct dam line.

Faustinus is an excellent sire for producing all types of sport and show horses. He is approved for breeding with the Oldenburg, Swedish, Rheinland, Westfalen, Deutsches Sportpferd, Mecklenburg, WBS-UK.
