Rotherwood Maybe needs no introduction,. For the past few years she has consistently been one of the most successful show hunter ponies on the circuit. Her ridden career consisted of numerous championships over the years including BSPS Manning Champion of Champions, BSPS John Peel Blue Riband Champion, Champion Great Yorkshire, Champion RIHS, Champion Royal Windsor, winner and reserve champion HOYS.

Her sire is one of the most renowned sires of all times worldwide Strinsdale Matador. He has sired top ridden and inhand show ponies, show hunter ponies and sport ponies. There is not many of the top shows that his numerous offspring have not won and went champion at. Her dam, Chirk Windflower was a very successful show mare and was a former in hand winner at HOYS. It comes as no surprise that like her parents Maybe has been as successful as she has been. Maybe's full sister Rotherwood Flight of Fancy was also a very prolific ridden pony winning many championships and also a winner at HOYS. She will be a very valuable asset to the stud as a brood mare.

This mare is a "true" show hunter mare and has very powerful paces and correct conformation. Only lightly shown her many wins include 2004 winter novice SHP, 6th HOYS 2007, 6th RIHS 2007, 1st Midland Counties, 1st RIHS area 9b, 1st Blue Ribband Summer Champs etc. She has a wonderful temperament and will be a good brood mare for producing show hunter ponies and intermediates.

Swan Song is a very correct mare with a fabulous temperament and lovely movement. She combines some of the best blood lines which have been proven through years of breeding to produce champion after champion. Her sire is the renowned Sandbourne Royal Ensign sire of many top ridden and in hand champions at all the major shows including HOYS, RIHS, BSPS championship show etc. To name a few - the studs own stallions Deanhills Royal Portrait and Deanhills Royal Jubilee, both are 3/4 bred to Swan Song. The former HOYS Pony of the Year, the late Bradmore Catkin (full sister to Swan Song), Drayton Penny Royal, Glenmoss Juliet.

The dam Fabdens Chit Chat was unshown but her progeny are all champions and very sought after, they include the multi in hand supreme champion Bradmore Nutkin, dam of the studs stallions Deanhills Royal Portrait and Deanhills Royal Jubilee. Penny had a fabulous in hand career being champion foal at the Royal Show and Ponies UK. As a yearling she was champion at West Midlands, Midland Counties, Ponies UK Summer Champs, Mids Arab and supreme youngstock at the Arab Championship show. As a 3 year old she was champion at West Midlands, Bath and West, PBA The Royal and reserve supreme overall champion NPS area 4.

She was not over shown under saddle but her wins include 3rd RIHS Home Produced, 8th Open RIHS, 9th HOYS and supreme 133cm BSPS.

She is the third generation of the Rosslyn family to be based at the stud and she will be a fabulous mare to continue breeding these famous lines.

This mare is familiar to most people on the show circuit today. Her breeding is fabulous, by Rotherwood Peter Pan, sire of many top ponies including the former Supreme Cuddy Champion Greenbarrow Mr Smee. Her dam a former multi champion, is the dam of many top ponies including the stallion Bradmore Royal Pennant and the full brothers to Flamenco, Rotherwood Pretentious and Rotherwood Precocious, both multi champions. Her grand dam the infamous Rotherwood Giselle again was a multi supreme show winner and the dam of the infamous Rotherwood Rhapsody.

Flamenco has had a fabulous inhand and ridden career. As a yearling she was the Reserve Supreme Inhand Cuddy Finalist and multi champion inhand winner. Under saddle she was Supreme Champion Ponies UK Scotland, , Champion East of England, Welsh Championships, NPS, BSPS Summer Champions of Champions 2005 and 2nd HOYS 2004.

Flamenco again proved her worth by winning the SUPREME WHITESIDE & KNOWLES 2007 IN HAND CHAMPIONSHIP and the much coveted £1000 prize attached.

Flamenco was lightly sown in 2009 and continued her winning ways, notching up Supreme In hand at The Great Yorkshire Show & qualifying for the Cuddy In AHDN at HOYS, Overall Supreme In hand at The Northern Horse Show and being placed 2nd at the final of the Cuddy Supreme at HOYS.

Flamenco was only shown at The Scottish Horse Show Golden Anniversary Show in 2010 where she took the overall riding pony breeding championship, overall Supreme In hand and qualified for the Cuddy Supreme In hand Championship at HOYS, where she was placed 8th.

Colbeach Sensation is familiar with everybody on the ridden show scene having won HOYS 3 times, been HOYS Pony Of The Year Reserve Champion 3 times, placed 2nd at HOYS twice and placed 3rd once. She has been the Supreme Champion of Champions at the BSPS Summer Championships, BSPS Blue Ribband Legand Show Pony Champion, David Manning Champion of Champions, twice BSPS Dennybeck Champion, Scottish Horse Show Champion twice, etc etc - there is few trophies pertaining to her classes that this mare has not had her name put on.
